Ode to Butterflies

Ode to Butterflies

Imagine that you are a butterfly,
Dancing from flower to flower.

You have not a care,
As you float through the air,
Drinking nectar each waking hour.

But oh did you know,
That with your little probes,
Antenna, and multiple legs,

You keep us alive,
Like the bees of the hive,
Pollinating plants as you go.

So keep up the great work,
My dear little friends,
All pollinators deserve great applause.

For if it were not for you,
We’d all say adieu,

So thank you for all that you are.

Wishing you dreams of butterflies,

LeeZa Donatella

There are no stupid questions, just unasked ones. We are all here to help each other.  Open your heart and share your question. You just may be helping another by asking it. Too shy to post a comment. That's okay, email me.
