The Art of Gaslighting and What to do when Confronted

It was only recently that I discovered the term gaslighting.

Per  Wikipedia:
Gaslighting is a form of mental abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception and sanity. Instances may range simply from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

Does this behaviour sound familiar? Have any of you ever been gaslighted?  Know that you are not alone. It's only after you deal with a Narcissistic Sociopath who has this technique in their toolbox that you know what it's like to be one of these special victims.

Spiritual places are full of light. They also attract dark energy. Learning discernment and noticing dark energies is key to protecting yourself and your wits in this case.

And if you have don't beat yourself up. Look at it as an experience of positive growth as you move forward. And if it happens again, how long does it take you to identify it?  Is that timeframe shorter than the time before? If so, then know that your ever shortening recovery time is a great sign as you learn and grow.

So what do you do when you realize that you are dealing with a gaslighter? Ah, that's easy. Run, don't walk away. Arguing with them only makes it worse and you don't need to incite any more negativity.

As you become more aware you will more easily notice those times when people try to control you through various techniques, like Gaslighting.

Blessings and wishes for you to only experience the light.
